In what climatic zone and in what area is the territory of South America located?

The continent of South America is quite elongated from north to south. Because of this, it is located in four climatic zones at once: equatorial, subequatorial, tropical and temperate. However, it is quite far from Antarctica. There is no territory with a very cold climate on it.

Of the seas, it is washed by only one – the Caribbean Sea. This also affects the climate of the region located near it.
