In what climatic zone is Australia located?

The geographical location of Australia encompasses three climatic zones at once. In the northern part of the mainland – subequatorial, which is characterized by high temperatures and high rainfall; in the south – subtropical, which is characterized by a predominance of positive temperatures with a significant difference in the amount of precipitation. And between them is located the tropical climatic zone, which occupies the largest area of ​​the mainland, in which the continental and marine zones are distinguished. In the continental climatic region, humid and dry weather prevails, and in the maritime climate feature is a slight fluctuation in temperature and an even distribution of precipitation.
