In what direction is the continentality of the climate in Western Siberia increasing?

A significant part of Western Siberia is characterized by a continental climate. Continental air of temperate latitudes prevails throughout the year. Tropical air is also supplied to the territory of Western Siberia along with the Arctic. This is due to increased meridional circulation. Atlantic air also enters here with the western transfer. Because of this, the degree of continentality increases to a greater extent in the direction from west to east, and in Western Siberia – from north to south. As a result, in winter there is a low temperature, and a rather sharp difference between summer and winter.
