In what environment can a sperm move?

A sperm cell is a male reproductive cell that has a flagellum and can only move in a humid environment.
That’s why:
– spore plants must have water for reproduction;
– many animals that live or develop in water are characterized by external fertilization, since sperm cells can independently reach the eggs (crustaceans, fish, amphibians);
– in animals living on land – internal fertilization (insects, reptiles, birds, mammals).
