In what forms is water found in the cell?

Hydrogen oxide occupies approximately 70% of the composition of any cell. Water in the cell can occur in free and bound form. In free form, water is found in blood vessels, intercellular space, vacuoles. In bound form, it is found in cell structures, protein molecules, membranes, and fibers. That is, the bound form provides for the presence of water molecules in various structures along with other chemicals. In free form, water does not create chemical bonds with other substances.
