In what millennium BC did the Mesopotamia state appear?

Mesopotamia is another name for Mesopotamia (Mesopotamia). So the ancient geographers called the territory located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

To the northeast of Egypt, in Asia, there are two large rivers – the Euphrates and the Tigris. They both originate in the mountains south of the Caucasus and flow into the Persian Gulf. The area between the Euphrates and the Tigris in their middle and lower reaches is called Mesopotamia.
