In what part of Africa did people come from?

The very first people (whom scientists can already identify as humans, not ape-people), such as Homo sapiens, were formed in Southeast Africa (approximately the territory of modern Kenya and Tanzania). It happened about 2 million years ago. Subsequently, people settled the entire African continent, and then (starting with Homo erectus) began to settle beyond its borders.
