In what ways did missionaries spread Christianity?

Missionaries were chosen by the church nobility, and if the missionary expressed a desire to visit any people, this was agreed with the church and already on the spot they were engaged in a wide variety of activities. The main goal of missionary work was to ensure that those people who have nothing to do with it or those who already knowingly wanted to join the church became interested in Christianity. They walked the streets, preached, communicated with random passers-by, in general, tried as best they could.
