The largest among the Egyptian pyramids is the Pyramid of Cheops, which is a monument of ancient Egyptian architecture, located near Cairo on the Giza Plateau, in the Nile Delta.

It is a huge building, built of boulders, about 140 meters high and a total occupied area of 5.4 hectares.

The absolutely exact date of the construction of the pyramid has not been established, it is only supposedly considered the beginning of its construction in 2560 BC, and the end – approximately 2540 BC.
