In what year did Germany end its conquest of Europe?

A few days before the start of World War II, the Third Reich and the USSR concluded the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact at the end of August 1939, and already in early September the biggest conflict in human history broke out. From September 1939 to June 1941, the Third Reich, without fear of being stabbed in the back by the USSR, systematically as a result of the “blitzkrieg” captured many countries of Western Europe that were not part of the coalition or declared neutrality. The main task was to withdraw France, Poland and Britain from the war. The only failure in this conflict was the “Battle of Britain” in the summer and fall of 1940.
