In what year did the barbarians conquer Rome?

The capture of Rome took place in 476 AD. The commander of the mercenary army Odoacer captured Rome. Emperor (minor) Romulus was sent to “retire”, signs of imperial dignity were sent to Constantinople. The Western Roman Empire ceased to exist. The era of the Middle Ages began.

Rome was also conquered by the Goths of Alaric in 410 AD.

The Vandals also took over Rome in 455 AD. At the head of the Vandals was the leader Geyserich.

All these seizures were accompanied by plunder and destruction. The Goths, however, spared the churches.
