In what year does the reign of the Sassanid dynasty begin?

The Persian Sassanid dynasty came to power after the fall of the Parthian dynasty. Thus, 224 A.D. a new state arose – the Sassanids. The Sassanid state was able to exist for 4 centuries, and practically was able to return to the former greatness that Persia had during its years of prosperity. True, there were often cases of disconnection of regions as a result of uprisings or wars. In the 7th century, the Sassanid state was defeated and absorbed by the Arab Caliphate, which was gaining strength at that time.
