In which city did Calvin create his community?

John Calvin is one of the religious leaders of the 16th century, that is, the period of the Reformation in Europe. He was born in Picardy in the north of France, studied in Orleans and Paris, and in 1535 left her and moved to Basel in the west of modern Switzerland. It should be borne in mind that the Swiss Union in those years was not a monarchy like France or Spain. Freethinkers lived there easier. From 1536 he lived for some time in Geneva, moved to Strasbourg, and in 1541 he returned to it completely. In Geneva, he worked productively for about 20 years and even opened an academy in 1559.
