In which direction were the Franks’ campaigns most successful?

Charles I the Great was king of the Franks from 768, and from 800 he became emperor. All military actions with his participation led to the doubling of the territory of the Frankish state. During his reign, 53 military campaigns were made, 27 of which Charles personally led. The most successful were: the war with Saxony in 772-804, the war in Spain in 778-810 (although the first campaign was unsuccessful), in 787-796 the territories of Austria and Hungary were now conquered, in 785 Friesland was captured, in 773 -774 military operations in Italy.
