This ocean is “registered” in the Northern Hemisphere. Actually, it is located around the North Pole. This is the smallest ocean on our planet. The average depth here is quite large – almost one thousand three hundred meters. The area of the seas of this ocean is more than ten million square kilometers. Almost forty-five percent of the bottom topography is occupied by the shelf.
