In which layer are the nephron capsules, and in which layers are the nephron tubules?

The nephron is an elementary structural unit of the kidney. Nephrons are covered with a Bowman-Shumlyansky capsule, which consists of a single-layer squamous epithelium (outer layer) and podocytes (inner layer). The capsules of nephrons are located in the cortex of the kidney.
The nephron tubules are the connection between the Bowman-Shumlyansky capsule and Henle’s loop. Located in the medulla of the kidney.
