In which lower plants does photosynthesis occur and in which cell organelles does it take place?

First, let’s remember what photosynthesis is. This is the process of glucose synthesis by plants. In this process, a pigment is produced that stains cells green, that is, all plants that are capable of photosynthesis are green. Now let’s remember which plants are considered inferior. These are the ones that have no organs. A striking example is algae. Many are capable of photosynthesis. But in algae, photosynthesis takes place in chromatophores, and not chloroplasts, as in higher plants. Chromatophores also belong to plastids and have a similar structure to chloroplasts.
