In which organelles are cells high in carbohydrates?

Carbohydrates are an important source of energy for any cell of an animal or plant organism. Carbohydrates are easily broken down to simple components with the release of pure energy – ATP. Most of all carbohydrate substances in the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi complex. These are the organelles that are responsible in the cell for storing and storing carbohydrates, provide the cell with energy for existence. With a deficiency of nutrients from outside, carbohydrates for vital activity will be spent from these organelles.
