In which parts of the plant does the process of photosynthesis take place?

The process of photosynthesis takes place in those parts of the plant in which chloroplasts are present. Chloroplasts are essential for the process, since all phases of photosynthesis occur inside them: on the membranes of thylakoids, inside thylakoids and in the stroma.
It can also be said that this process occurs in all green parts of the plant – the leaves and the stem, because most often it is these parts of the plant that have chloroplasts.
