Indicate the characteristic features of the structure of lymphoid and horsetail plants.

Consider the common in lycopods and horsetails: individuals of the sexual generation are small and grow separately from the asexual generation. Individuals of the asexual generation consist of a shoot and roots. Plants of asexual generation predominate. Differences between lycopods and horsetails are observed in the structure of vegetative organs.
Root system: in the order of lycopods, additional roots extending from the stem, and in the order of horsetails, in the asexual generation, the roots and rhizomes are highly developed.
Stem: in lymphoids, forked forks, and some of them are directed upwards. On the tops of the shoots, there are scales with sporangia on the upper side. In horsetails, the main stem forks and the lateral stems have wedge-shaped leaves. There is no chlorophyll in these leaves, so photosynthesis takes place in the stems.
