Indicate the position of the teachings of Luther.

Martin Luther suggested changing attitudes towards the church and priests. He was convinced that a person does not need a mediator to communicate with God. Accordingly, the role of the clergy was abolished. Luther believed that the Bible should be translated into all languages so that people could read it on their own. He was also opposed to icons in the temple, because he believed that they simplify the image of God. Luther abolished confession because he thought that one person simply did not have the right to forgive another’s sins.
