Is Charles Darwin a genius? Why?

I read that Charles Darwin is undeniably a genius. His thoughts were brilliant and truly revolutionary. He was the first to raise the question of the origin of species, thereby undermining the centuries-old system of views on biology. We can say that he made a discovery not only in biology. He questioned the divine origin of man. The theory of evolution has replaced the shaky religious interpretation of the nature of the world and living things. Darwin also showed himself in other branches of biology: he studied the habits of animals, studied coral reefs.
