Is it possible to set fire to dry grass in meadows?

The answer is no.
This cannot be done because the fire can spread to trees, houses. During the fall of dry grass, the shoots of plants are damaged, therefore some valuable plants may disappear altogether, and rough and unpretentious ones will remain to live. Insects, bird nests, small animals suffer from fire and smoke. The soil becomes less fertile as organic matter is burned out. To summarize, burning dry grass leads to a decrease in the species diversity of the meadow system.
