Is primary starch deposited in chloroplasts of plant cells in the light?

Chloroplasts are the membrane structures of cells that are essential for the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a very complex process that takes place in two phases. During the light phase, primary starch is deposited. These substances are used by the plant as the main source of energy. Mitochondria oxidize carbohydrates and when oxidized, energy is released. Also, complex glucose molecules during oxidation decompose to water and carbon dioxide from which they are synthesized during photosynthesis.
