Is the earth threatened by overpopulation?

In the middle of the 20th century, about three billion people lived on Earth, and by 2017 – seven billion! The population is growing rapidly, and scientists have sounded the alarm. If such growth rates continue, then by 2100 the population will exceed 11 billion, and with an increase in the birth rate it may approach 15 billion, therefore, our planet is threatened with overpopulation. Humanity may find itself on the brink of survival, there will not be enough fresh water and food, environmental pollution and serious climate changes will occur, and global world wars will begin.

Our academician Sergei Kapitsa, using a model of demographic growth in the population he built, showed that growth will continue for 100 years and will stabilize at 12-14 billion people. The earth is capable of feeding such an amount.
