Is there a substance isomeric to methane?

Methane has no isomers. The simplest hydrocarbons – methane (CH4), ethane (CH3CH3) and propane (CH3CH2CH3) do not have constitutional isomers, since there is no other way to combine the carbon and hydrogen atoms of these molecules. Methane only has 1 carbon atom, so there is no chain of carbon atoms to form structural isomers.
