Island states of Asia.

In the coastal waters of Asia, there are many individual islands and archipelagos on which independent states have formed. So, on the island of Ceylon in the south of India, there is the country of Sri Lanka. In the east of Asia there is another island state – Japan. In the southeast of Asia, there is the Philippines, which occupy an entire archipelago of volcanic islands. To the west of the Philippines lies Taiwan. In a more southerly direction is the largest island state of the planet – Indonesia, which occupies several large and about a thousand small islands.
