Liberation war in the Netherlands and their goals.

The main goal of the liberation war in the Netherlands was to get rid of Spanish rule. So in the middle of the 16th century, the first skirmishes between the Spaniards and the Dutch began, which grew into an open struggle. This war of liberation simultaneously became a bourgeois revolution. This struggle lasted over 80 years and ended with the complete victory of the Netherlands. In 1648, a peace treaty was signed and the Netherlands were able to gain their independence.
