| To find the value of the expression y = -4 * x + 7, you need to substitute the number given to us instead of x and find the value of the resulting expression. Since we have two numbers, there will be two examples.
1) y = -4 * (-1.3) + 7;
y = 5.2 + 7;
y = 12.2.
2) y = -4 * 8 + 7;
y = -32 + 7;
y = -25.
Answer: 12.2; -25.
