Lines AB and CD meet at point O. The degree measure of one of the angles formed at the intersection of lines AB and CD is 70 °. Find the degree measure for each of the angles.

1. Since at the intersection of lines AB and CD, two pairs of vertical angles are formed, and, as you know, the vertical angles are equal, then the second angle will also be equal to 70˚.

2. Find the second pair of vertical angles 180˚ – 70˚ = 110˚, that is, each angle of the second pair is equal to 110˚.

Answer: the rest of the angles formed at the intersection of lines AB and CD are equal to 70˚, 110˚, 110˚.
