List historical periods.

Historical periods can be divided into the following stages:

1) Primitive society (3 million – 3.5 thousand years BC);

2) The Ancient World (covers the time period from 3.5 thousand years BC to the 5th century AD);

3) the Middle Ages (this time period falls on the 5-15th centuries);

4) Modern times (covers the time period from the 16th to the 19th century);

5) Modern times (falls at the end of the 19th and 20th centuries);

6) Modernity (our time).
