List the laboratory instruments you know. What research is it used for?

Biological research is carried out for different purposes, therefore the equipment is different:

1) to enlarge different parts of the studied objects: handheld magnifier, tripod magnifier;

2) to examine the internal structure of organisms, those parts of it that are not visible to the naked eye: various types of microscopes – light, electronic, scanning;

3) for preparation of preparations: scalpel, lancet, microtome;

4) for growing crops and studying the chemical composition: Petri dishes, test tubes, flasks, alcohol lamps.
