List the parts of the world’s ocean floor.

The ocean starts from the shore. The continent’s shelf is the first from the coast. It is essentially an extension of the mainland. Then the continental slope, which turns into the ocean floor – a huge flat plain at the bottom of the ocean. But this is not the case everywhere. Deep-sea trenches are encountered. This is the place where one lithospheric plate “dives” under another. In the middle of the oceans, there are so-called mid-ocean ridges. In these places, the two plates diverge in different directions.
