The planets of the solar system in order of distance from the sun:
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
The closer to the Sun, the more heat the planet receives. Mercury and Venus receive significantly more heat than Earth. The rest of the planets receive less heat.
