List the pros and cons of historical documentaries.

The advantages of historical documentaries include: a) objectivity, in documentaries it is less possible to distort reality than in fiction; b) expressiveness, there is nothing more important to hear about the event from the “first hand”; c) the visibility of the story for the audience; d) the opportunity to see what is far away and inaccessible (other continents, the underground and underwater world, outer space.

On the downside of historical documentaries, I would attribute the fact that since cinematography is a young art form, we can only watch the events of the last 100+ years.
