List the reasons for the rise of the kingdom of Macedonia.

The following reasons for the rise of Macedonia in the 4th century BC can be distinguished:

Creation of an army of a new model (the Macedonian phalanx appeared, where pikemen armed with long sarissa were the basis);
The ambitious policy of King Philip II of Macedon;
Disunity of Greek city-states.

So after the battle of Chaeronea, which took place in 338 BC, Macedonia was able to gain power over most of Greece.
