Having examined the parasitic worm, we will see some adaptations to parasitism. First of all, it is the presence of special hooks or suckers on the body and near the beginning of the digestive tract. This is how they attach to the intestinal wall of the host. Their sizes, depending on the species, are very different. These can be small worms: 3-5 centimeters and very large: up to 18 meters. Worm eggs have such adaptations that they will not be digested while in the stomach of an infected animal. In a neutral environment in the intestines, they feel completely safe.
