The era of the Middle Ages can be roughly divided into the following historical periods:
1) The early Middle Ages falls on the period of the 5-11 centuries (during this period of time the feudal system was born);
2) Classical Middle Ages 11-13th century (at this time the church gained a strong power, crusades take place);
3) Late Middle Ages 13-15 century (the beginning of geographical discoveries).
