Bacteria are a large group of microorganisms, they can be classified in different ways: by shape (rod-shaped, spherical, there is still a tortuous form of bacteria), by the type of their fitness (aerobic and anaerobic), and they can also be gram-negative and gram-positive (it all depends on whether how susceptible they can be to the dye, some have a dense shell, other bacteria – vice versa).
