Main events of the Paris uprising on March 18, 1871.

The uprising began in several districts of Paris, but very soon it engulfed the entire city, which forced the Thiers government to leave the city and move to Versailles. Following this, in some other cities, such as Leon, Toulouse, Marseille, communes were also proclaimed, but they did not last long, only a few days.
