Make a diagram of the US political system.

The United States of America is a federal state and at the same time a presidential republic. The political system is divided into three branches of government. Legislative power is identified by a bicameral parliament (House of Representatives and Senate). Parliament is called Congress. The judiciary is chaired by the US Supreme Court. Executive power is vested in the President, who is at the same time the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, but his powers are very much limited by Congress. The judiciary in the United States is independent of the other two branches of government.
