| 1. Obtaining copper chloride by the interaction of copper carbonate and hydrochloric acid:
СuCO3 + 2 HCl = CuCl2 + CO2 + H2O.
2. The reaction of copper chloride with sodium hydroxide to form an insoluble base and a soluble salt:
СuCl2 + 2NaOH = Cu (OH) 2 + 2NaCl.
3. When heated, copper hydroxide decomposes into oxide and water:
Cu (OH) 2 = CuO + H2O.
