| 1) When calcium interacts with carbon, calcium carbide is formed:
Ca + 2C → CaC2;
2) Calcium carbide reacts with water, it turns out – calcium hydroxide and acetylene:
CaC2 + 2H2O → Ca (OH) 2 + C2H2;
3) Acetylene reacts with oxygen, we get carbon oxide (IV) and water:
2C2H2 + 5O2 → 4CO2 + 2H2O;
4) Carbon oxide (IV) reacts with water, forms – oxygen and glucose:
6H2O + 6CO2 → 6O2 + C6H12O6;
5) Glucose decomposes into ethanol and carbonic oxide (IV):
C6H12O6 → 2C2H5OH + 2CO2;
6) Ethanol decomposes into ethane and water:
С2H5OH → C2H4 + H2O.
