1) 2Ca + O2 = 2CaO (calcium oxide is formed);
2) CaO + H2O = Ca (OH) 2 (calcium hydroxide is formed);
3) Ca (OH) 2 + 2HF = CaF2 + 2H2O (calcium fluoride and water are formed);
4) CaF2 + H2SO4 = CaSO4 + 2HF (calcium sulfate and hydrofluoric acid are formed).
