| Make up the equations for the reactions between potassium hydroxide and the following substances: 1) iron (III) chloride 2) copper (II) sulfate 3) sulfur (IV) oxide 4) phosphorus (V) oxide 5) sulfur (VI) oxide
Equations of the above reactions:
1) potassium hydroxide with iron (III) chloride:
3KOH + FeCl3 = Fe (OH) 3 ↓ + 3KCl;
2) potassium hydroxide with copper (II) sulfate:
2KOH + CuSO4 = Cu (OH) 2 ↓ + K2SO4;
3) potassium hydroxide with sulfur (IV) oxide:
2KOH + SO2 = K2SO3 + H2O;
4) potassium hydroxide with phosphorus (V) oxide:
6KOH + P2O5 = 2K3PO4 + 3H2O;
5) potassium hydroxide with sulfur oxide (VI):
2KOH + SO3 = K2SO4 + H2O.
