CaO + Н2О = Ca (OH) 2 – calcium oxide interacts with water to form calcium hydroxide.
Ca (OH) 2 + 2Н3РО4 = Ca3 (PO4) 2 + 3Н2О – calcium hydroxide interacts with phosphoric acid, forming calcium salt and water.
b) BaO + 2НNO3 = Ba (NO3) 2 + Н2О – barium oxide interacts with nitrate acid to form barium nitrate and water.
Ba (NO3) 2 + Ca (OH) 2 = Ba (OH) 2 + Ca (NO3) 2 – barium nitrate interacts with calcium hydroxide, forming barium hydroxide and calcium nitrate.
