Meadows food chain in spring.

In spring, herbaceous plants flourish in meadows, they actively grow and bloom. This attracts a large number of insects that eat leaves, nectar, and pollen. Insects are food for birds, amphibians, reptiles, and those, in turn, are food for predatory animals.
Examples of food chains in a spring meadow:
