Events:

1) Meeting of the king with the nobility to resolve the issue of serfdom;

2) In 1857, provincial noble committees began to be created to develop a peasant reform;

3) In 1858, the creation of editorial commissions takes place;

4) In 1861, the very abolition of serfdom is already taking place.

However, these measures were insufficient. The peasant reform was incomplete and required improvements.
