The median of the angle divides the opposite side in half.

Therefore, side BD = CD = 2 cm, AE = EC = 4 cm.

Then, side BC = BD + CD = 2 + 2 = 4 cm, side AC = AE + EC = 4 + 4 = 8 cm.

Perimeter of triangle ABC:

Pabc = AB + BC + AC = 8 + 4 + 8 = 20 cm.
