Methods for combating and preventing corrosion.

Ways to combat and prevent iron corrosion:
1) Thermal spraying – a method of applying on the metal surface a layer of another metal or alloy that is resistant to corrosion, this metal layer protects the product from corrosion.
2) Thermal diffusion zinc coating – metal coating with a layer of zinc, applied to ferrous metals and electrochemically protects steel from corrosion.
3) Cadmium plating – cadmium coating of parts, similar to zinc plating, but more resistant, especially in sea water.
4) Chrome plating – chrome plating of parts, analogous to zinc and cadmium, but has a more beautiful appearance.
